WWT Pic 2Essence Food Studio has created a wonderful experience in the Werribee Park Mansion at night. Guests enjoy a full three course dinner, cooked and presented by chef, Bart Beek, in the historic Mansion kitchen. The stunning menu would be in the old style of hearty flavours, e.g.

  • caramelised onion and goats cheese tartlet;

  • beautiful slow braised lamb shanks with creamy mash, slow roasted tomatoes and baby spinach; or

  • steamed Muscat poached fruits pudding with a Mauritian cream caramel sauce

Guests are taken on a trip back in time where they learn about the Victorian lifestyle – how they lived, worked and ate. Boutique wines are served to match and there are giveaways to the value of $700 at the end of the dinner.

At 9:00pm, the dinner is followed by the scary comedy play ‘What Was That?’ based on the true story of the Chirnside family. As guests you come along as supposed old friends of the Chirnsides. You follow the actors throughout the house and the story unfolds as you move from room to room. It’s spooky and fun!

On the night meet at the Sofitel Mansion & Spa Hotel foyer at 6:45pm ready for 7:00pm sharp pick up (park in the Sofitel Mansion & Spa Hotel car park).

Event includes 3 course dinner, red and white wine (non-alcoholic drinks available), giveaways, performance of ‘What Was That?’

Get ready for a unique and exciting event!
