Refund/Cancellation Policy
Refunds
Essence Food Studio abides by all laws regarding refunds. i.e Consumer Affairs states:
[1] You are entitled to a refund if a product you purchased:
[a] has a fault you could not have known about when you bought them; or
[b] does not do the job you were led to believe they would; or
[c] does not match the sample you were shown; or
[d] are not as described to you (it is important to have a written description).
[2] You are not entitled to a refund if:
[a] there is nothing wrong with the goods, but you have changed your mind and/or for
whatever reason are unable to attend; or
[b] the goods were bought for someone else who doesn’t want them; or
[c] the goods were damaged after you bought them; or
[d] you knew, or could reasonably have known, about any faults when you bought the
goods.
Cancellations
Once a booking is completed (confirmed through Essence Food Studio), and after three (3) days cooling off period, you cannot receive a refund on your full payment or deposit (see refunds above). Your booking CANNOT automatically be transferred to another event.
Essence Food Studio does, however, offer a service wherein we will endeavour to fill those places. If, we manage to do so, you will be given a refund less a $20 administration fee.
Vouchers
Once a booking is made and a voucher is used to secure that booking (confirmed through Essence Food Studio), and after three (3) days cooling off period, no refunds or transfers are allowed on the vouchers. Vouchers cannot be used to purchase other vouchers.
The vouchers are valid for twelve (12) months and cannot be extended. As all events are very popular, it is recommended that you give at least four (4) weeks notice to book an event.
